Roslyn
Shepherd
Membership Secretary
Roslyn
(Ros) Shepherd (nee Fulton), was born and brought up in the
city of Aberdeen, Scotland. When Ros left school, she went
into the insurance business before finding "Oil".
She spent a lot of years with Vetco (which underwent various
name additions). Then temping with various Contractor Companies
and Majors Oil Companies. Laterly before coming to Houston,
she was Project Secretary for BP's Foinaven Field, West of
Shetland.
She met her husband Paul (formerly VP of Site), whilst working
for Aker Subsea. They married in 1994 in Aberdeen. It was
Paul's job with Kvaerner that took them both over here in
1999, initially for three months. Two years later they decided
to stay a bit longer, so Paul took a local job with Paragon
Engineering (now Amec-Paragon). They reckon they will be here
for a wee while yet. They both have been active in the HHGA
for a few years.
