About Us

The Houston Highland Games Association (HHGA) has been fostering interests in the culture and heritage of Scotland for over thirty-eight years. We are a 501(c )3 non-profit organization whose purpose is to preserve Scottish and Celtic traditions, which formed the roots of many of the folk traditions of the United States of America.

The HHGA goals are as follows:
- Promote Scottish/Celtic culture & heritage
- Provide a forum for Celtic arts
- Recognize recent contributions to the advancement
  of Scottish culture & heritage
- Recognize historical contributions to Texas heritage
  by those of Scottish ancestry
- Establish funds/scholarships & charitable donations
