This is the same location where the HHGA 2019 Games/Festival was held. The 2020 Games were canceled due to pending Covid issues.
There are several Volunteer opportunities open…both for pre-planning and onsite. Upcoming on the calendar:
Mar 12th (Sat) St. Patrick’s Parade
HHGA Co-ordinator Kelly Elliott We will assemble at 11:30 am with banners and Celtic attire to march in the parade.
Mar 26th (Sat) Kemah Boardwalk Celtic Festival
HHGA Co-ordinator Jean Pirtle We will have a 10×10 booth space to set up a tent, tables, chairs, banners, to provide promotional materials (from 3 pm-7 pm)’

| An informal “Burns Night” get-together has been reserved at 6:00 pm Saturday, January 29th, 2022, at the Red Lion’s Fireplace Room, 2316 South Shepherd Drive, Houston, TX 77019 No charge for admission tickets. However, because of space limitations, confirmations will be needed from those able to attend. Order Free Tickets at THIS LINK. Haggis and meat pies will be available. Meals can be ordered off the menu. Bring along your favorite Burn’s poem for sharing. A song list is being assembled list for a sing-a-long. Come and join us! As always, kilts are highly encouraged. HHGA Annual General Membership Meeting and Elections will be held on Wednesday, July 14th, 2021, at Lyndon’s Pit Bar-B-Q, 5320 Hollister St, Houston, TX 77040.
The meeting will start promptly at 7 pm. If you plan on eating, please go through the ordering line to get food prior to the 7 pm start time. Table service is not available.
Our nomination committee has received confirmation that each of the current 2019-2021 board position holders has agreed to stand for re-election. However, additional nominations can be made from the floor at the meeting with prior approval from the respective nominee. To vote in the election, you must be a current HHGA member for at least 24 hours prior to the beginning of the meeting. There is no proxy or absentee voting.
