Greetings from HHGA.Our next HHGA Membership Meeting will be held on May 7th (Wednesday), 2025, at St Thomas’ Episcopal School (STES), 4900 Jackwood St, Houston, TX 77096. 

• The meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. in their Reserved Board Room.
• The parking area is across from the STES lobby entrance and is accessible via Jackwood or Endicott Street.
• Check-in is via the STES lobby at their reception desk. A photo ID may be required.

• Membership updates: Council of Scottish Clans and Associations (COSCA)
• Sharing highlights from: Apr 5-7 – San Antonio Highland Games
• Sharing highlights from: Apr 5-6 – Kemah Celtic Festival 
• Activation of the Nominating Committee – Board Positions for 2005-2007 (VP-Site, VP-Ways & Means, Membership Secretary, Treasurer, Director-at-Large Position #1)
• Formulating Plans & Volunteer Opportunities for our October 18th Games!  With the bagpipes piping and the highland dancers dancing, what a great time to volunteer!  HHGA needs your support to make it a Games Day Success!  On Friday, October 17th, volunteers will be needed to assist with the event set up.  On Saturday, October 18th, there will be several areas needing assistance: e.g., the check-in table, athletics, piping, entertainment stage, children’s activities, and more! This is a great opportunity for you to make a difference and meet new people.  A sign-up form will be available on our HHGA website.  Your help would be greatly appreciated!

Jan 25th – HHGA “Burns Nicht” Get-Together – An informal “Burns Night” get-together has been reserved from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Saturday, January 25th, 2025, at the Red Lion’s Fireplace Room, 2316 South Shepherd Drive, Houston, TX 77019.  No charge for admission tickets. However, because of space limitations, confirmations will be needed from those able to attend. Order Free Tickets at this LINK.
