Greetings from HHGA. Our  Annual General Membership Meeting will be held on July 12th (Wednesday) at  Lyndon’s BBQ, 5320 Hollister St, Houston, TX 77040. 

• The meeting will begin at 6:00 pm in their Reserved Meeting Area.
• Plan on arriving and ordering your dinner 5:30 pm – 6:00 pm.

I hope everyone is staying cool and hydrated.  Am so glad there are no games in Texas during the summer!

According to our By-Laws, our Annual General Membership Meeting is held in July on the second Wednesday of the month. This year that will be July 12th.  One of the things we will do during the Annual Meeting is to vote on the slate of officers that are up for election this year.  The Directors-at-Large, upon completing their search and confirmations, recommends the following 2023-2025 candidates for approval:

• VP Site – (Open)
• VP Ways and Means – Jean Pirtle
• Membership Secretary – Jeanette Douglass
• Treasurer – Michelle Belanger
• Director-at-Large Position #1 – Max Triola

Nominations will be allowed from the floor, but you must have permission from the person you nominate.

I am encouraging everyone to attend. We need a quorum to be able to process voting. If you want to provide your input to our organization you will need to attend. We will be meeting at Lyndon’s BBQ so we will have more room. They do not have Wifi, so Zoom attendance is not possible.
